Xbox Games 2009

In march 2009 some fantastic games were released on the market. This just shows how popular and demanding console games have become. Everybody at least knows somebody who has a console system. The rest of 2009 is said to be just as good.

Tom Clancy's H.a.w.x. I have tried my hand at every Tom Clancy game on the XBox360 to date and this is my favourite. As an aside, I really did want to like Tom Clancy's Endwar but just found some aspects of battlefield control counter-intuitive. Although, I am hoping there will be a sequel with improvements; there is no denying how innovative that game is. My favourite feature in the game is the ERS, which you activate in order to intercept enemies or reach a target. The only gripe I have is that learning to fly in 'Assistance Off' mode (which provides an excellent view of the aircraft in action) requires a great deal of practice since you cannot adjust the camera angle.

Another great game to buy is Resident evil 5, This is just amazingly epic every step of the way and is a decent challenge (25 hours playtime on the hardest difficulty available at the start). Your AI partner handles herself fairly well and the weapons system is superbly balanced - at any point in time if you're sensible it's possible to configure the weapons set and find a better way to go through a level or face a boss.

These games are also available on playstation and PC. Enjoy your Gaming

My name is Peter and I am just starting to learn internet marketing. My aim is to work from home since being made redundant. Most homes now have a games console to pass the time away. For great games and consoles at great prices go to http://www.gamecreation.co.uk it has console games old and new to test mind, skill and co-ordination. Wii, Xbox360, Playstation, Gameboy,Nintendo DS and PSP. Enjoy your gaming.

Copy Xbox 360 Games - Tips For Xbox Owners

Original Xbox 360 games cost a lot of money, around $60 each. Well it's not that much but considering that you will eventually scratch the disc or do other accidental but fatal damage to it so that you won't be able to play anymore, it's expensive.

If you have ever tried to copy an original Xbox 360 game DVD with your PC or Mac then you should know - and probably that's exactly why you're here - that it's simply not possible with regular burning software. If you don't believe me for some reason, go on and try it with a casual DVD writing program and you'll see that it fails. Microsoft introduced a copy protection system that was very hard to crack, and although there were solutions, they were difficult to complete and mostly annoying. And I won't even begin discussing other console systems like the PlayStation 3, etc.

The good news is that the era of hot-swap game backup is finally over. With modern software it is possible to make backups of your original games with a few clicks with the mouse, just like with any other popular regular CD or DVD burners. Before, if you put a console game disc into your computer's reader device you couldn't see anything that was because the aforementioned copyright protection. So you had to find a way to make your PC recognize the contents of that particular DVD in order to copy it. Finally your search is over, as there are three easy steps you have to do in order to backup your Xbox 360 games:

  1. Insert the game into your PC's DVD drive, then it will make an ISO image file of it.
  2. After it's finished with the ISO, insert a blank DVD you'd like to write to.
  3. Wait until it finishes and there you have your instant game backup!

The software I'm currently using is capable of making copies of Xbox 360, Xbox, PS3, PS2, Nintendo Wii, Gamecube, PC, Dreamcast games, DVD movies and series and as an extra: it makes DVD videos of your DivX, Xvid, MP4 and other formats! Gears of War 2 - XBOX 360

Welcome back the Locust Horde. Only yourself and your crack team of elite fighters (Delta Squad) can stop the locusts horde from ending the lives of all the humans on the planet. This time its not as simple as blasting your way through the game. What is evident in this game is it based around tactics, tactics and more tactics. The introduction of a new 'cover system' means you can employ the services of the enemy as a a shield. The graphics have improved from the Gears of War 1 opener and appear to be both more detailed and deeper in color.

The game offers both single and multi-player options. The solo mission is larger, harder and the weapons are more severe and destructive from the previous edition. Epic would be a word that comes to mind and this is not just a reference to the developer. The plot twists in this game keeping it both entertaining and interesting and should keep you coming back for more. One thing that does seem to have improved is the graphical glitches. Most games seem to slip at some point or another but this seems to be very rare on GofW2

The multi-player Horde mode is a welcome addition and extremely entertaining. You and four others can fight off wave after wave of Locusts and see who can survive till the end. This mode allows the gamer to take charge of any of the human fighters plus any of the locusts. It may take the more advanced of gamers out there a number of long sittings to get to the end, but there is no doubt it will have been well worth it.

Fall Out 3 - As Good As Oblivion?

I bought Oblivion for the XBOX 360 when it came out 2 years ago. I instantly fell in love with it. For those of you who don't know Oblivion is a video game put out by Bethesda Softworks . Its an RPG game (role playing game) in a medieval setting. You can be male or female and several different races. You are set out on a quest to save the land of Tamriel. You can do that or go on the many other adventures within the game. You can be in the Fighters Guild, the Mages Guild (which is like witches and wizards), you can join the Dark Brotherhood (assassins), you can be in the Thieves Guild, or you can just run around and check things out.

There was also an add on put out call the Shivering Isles in which you can be a God. All in all it is the coolest RPG game. This past year Bethesda came out with another RPG game called Fall Out 3. This game is set in post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. Again you can be boy or girl. There aren't as many factions to join and in this game when you finish the main quest you can no longer be that character again and unlike Oblivion it only goes up to 20th level where Oblivion seems to be infinite in levels. There are many quests you can do before you do the main one.

In the game you are born into an underground vault and leave to find your father who has escaped the vault to take care of some unfinished business. Along the way you encounter all kinds of animals and people and places. Although I like Fall Out 3 I feel that Oblivion is so much better in the way the game is set up. For those of you who like RPG games both of these games are worth trying out although I recommend Oblivion over Fall Out 3.
