XBox 360 Emulator

Xbox 360 as Microsoft’s latest release of power gaming console, offers a greater experience compared to its predecessor. One of the things around new consoles that always comes up when they are released is the buzz on how people can play the game titles in various platforms, not exclusively on the new system, or in other word, to develop the emulator.

An emulator can take form as a computer software which means a computer can run more than one emulator for various gaming platforms. Alternatively, the emulator comes in the form of a hardware device designed cross platform. An example of a hardware emulator is a Nintendo emulator for Xbox 360 which was released to allow people to play Nintendo games on their new Xbox 360.

Even so, “legal” cross platform emulator is a very rare thing indeed. Famous game platforms are created by various companies that are sharing the same market cake so creating an emulator to work on another competitor’s device is considered suicide.

Xbox 360 as the most present release replacing the older Xbox however, provides its users with an emulator function that enables its owners to play previous Xbox games, especially popular ones. This way, owners of the new Xbox 360 won’t have to look for an emulator to play popular Xbox games on their Xbox 360.
